Christopher Wiens

Christopher brings 10 years of insurance experience to the APEX team. Christopher spent the first five years of his career assisting Manitoba-based, mid-market contractors to grow their businesses with the use of surety and specialized insurance products.
In 2015, Christopher relocated to Toronto where he helped Ontario-based general, mechanical, industrial, and civil contractors navigate a litigious and complex insurance landscape.
With experience in two distinct markets, Christopher offers a unique perspective on managing risk in the construction sector and he looks forward to sharing this experience with APEX clients.
Christopher and his wife recently returned to their hometown of Winnipeg where they are excited about putting permanent roots down in the community.
Christopher is a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree. He was a founding board member of the Young Construction Leaders of Manitoba (YCLM) and has facilitated insurance seminars at industry events.
